One and a half years have gone by and I haven't written anything here since then. Mainly because I nothing new to say and because I am still out of work, being online became a drag; since I would spend hours trying to find a job. This search continues again, but without the dread of last year. I feel more hopeful in finding work this year. Especially I want to get some freelance work and get my work seen by art directors. So a new portfolio is needed! Now it's a new year, I thought I'd add two recent paintings and say hello, I'm still here. What's new? I've started a new project creating CD covers for fictitious bands to poke fun at pretentious bands and to vent some rage at the type of so-called bands who don't even play their music (boy/girl bands) or write their songs and at crappy, shitty bands and singers who sound the same, lack originality and try to sound like decades gone past, and sound badly with it too (Duffy, Amy Winehouse etc). It's also a good exercise at designing on such a limited space and the variety of singers I can't stand will produce a variety of styles in my work. Let the lampooning begin!

I was asked again to submit work for the DVD in ImagineFX magazine issue 42 http://imaginefx.com/ which was great!
